Ely harvest festival

donating to the local community

Oliver's and Isle of Ely Produce partake in multiple charitable events annually. One of our biggest events is the Ely Harvest Festival.

As many farmers were getting into the think of the 2018 harvest, for one week only, Ely Cathedral opened it's doors to the public free of charge. The harvest festival aims to promote and give thanks to the local farming community by displaying locally farmed produce for all to see. The event attracts visitors, locally an from far afield.

As ever Isle of Ely Produce, and Oliver's Potatoes were keen to get involved! We were proud to display a range of our produce including locally grow English Onions, Chipping, Baking and Salad potatoes.

It was great to see the positive reception from both the public and the local growers we are associated with. All of our local growers donated bags of potatoes to be displayed which showed the vast number of local potato growers in the area!

All of the produce displayed on the Isle of Ely stand is donated to the Ely food bank, who distribute it to those in need. We are proud to support this great event and look forward to taking part again next year!
